1. Code of Practice

Under Presidential Decree No. 1869 (as amended by Republic Act No. 9487), PAGCOR regulates gaming establishments in the Philippines. All licensed operators, including Bet88, are required to implement Responsible Gaming practices to:

Prevent underage gambling.
Reduce the risk of gambling addiction.
Minimize potential harm to individuals, families, and society.

2. Definitions

Problem Gambler: A person whose gambling behavior leads to loss of control, financial issues, or harm to personal and social life.
Problem Gambling: Persistent and harmful gambling behavior, often accompanied by an inability to stop despite negative consequences.
National Database of Restricted Persons (NDRP): A list maintained by PAGCOR of individuals prohibited from entering or gambling in licensed establishments in the Philippines.
Gaming Employment License (GEL): Authorization issued by PAGCOR to individuals working in the gaming sector. GEL holders are prohibited from gambling in any establishment in the country.

3. Limited Access

In compliance with PAGCOR’s regulations, the following individuals are not permitted to enter or gamble in any licensed gaming venue in the Philippines:

Government officials directly involved in government operations.
Members of the Armed Forces of the Philippines or the Philippine National Police.
Individuals under 21 years old, or students enrolled in schools, colleges, or universities in the country.

4. Player Exclusion Program

Bet88 supports PAGCOR’s Exclusion Program, which allows individuals or their family members to voluntarily request exclusion from gaming venues if they feel gambling has become problematic. If you wish to request exclusion, please contact our Customer Service team for assistance.
